FELLOWSHIP REPORTS
Bill Girard receives Fellowship Degree of Honor
At this years Moose International Convention held in Chicago, Bill Girard was announced as receiving the honor of higher degree of Fellowship. His name was recommended by the Plainfield Moose Lodge #2491 Fellowship committee to Moose International. Our current Court of Fellowship members are Tom Kelly, Floyd Schultz, Jerry Weiss, Kurt Stalzer, Jim Lawrence and John Thompson. A candidate is recommended by the lodge Fellowship members, based on his loyalty to the lodge and Moose Legion and his belief in the principles and precepts of the Loyal Order of Moose. No member can ever ask to be a Fellow.
Bill has served on the Board of Officers as a Trustee, Prelate, Treasurer, Jr. Governor, Governor, Past Governor and also as our Lodge Administrator. Several of these positions Bill has filled more than once. He has ran successfully numerous projects and committees not only at this lodge level but also at Illinois Moose State level. He has sponsored many new LOOM members and Moose Legions. His reputation as someone the lodge can always count on is certainly the reason he merits this award.
Bill and his lovely wife Kelly, have dedicated a huge portion of their lives to the success of this lodge and continue to be there. Without ever asking for recognition or rewards, Bill exemplifies what a Fellowship Honoree is about.
Congratulations Bill. And thanks for being a leader and a brother.
